The Past, Present and Future of SJ on April 24th 2000

Past:

Man, it's been busy. The school stuff is pretty much done for this semester, so now there's time to concentrate on the jobs at hand. I've been slow in answering your mail, but I've been spending that time working fiercely on Ski Jump International v3, I promise. You couldn't imagine how big a project such a game is, especially if you want to do everything well.

Present:

Some of you know, SJ3 is on the verge of release... As a truly international product, the game is being translated to some cool European languages as we (or I) speak. Also plenty of beta-testing is going on all the time. So far, things look good, people have liked the new game, and just a few days ago, my graphics department (Mr. Lasse Makkonen) sent me the awesome looking hills package for SJ3. You'll be blow away with the new stuff, some of you might complain that it's not 100% realistic (yet again), but it's so super-funky, you shouldn't mind.

Future:

The release date for SJ3 should be set in stone later this week, as soon I find out how long the translations will take. The User Manual and other text files are still under construction, and also the whole new webpages need a few things here and there... So much work, so little time.

That's about it, stay tuned, it's going to get interesting pretty soon.

Thanks a lot, feel absolutely free to mail me with whatever comments or suggestions you may have.
