Past:
Version 2.1 has been available for some time
now. The number of registering (and re-registering) have decreased quite
a lot. Maybe summer is not the most ideal SJ2 season or maybe the new
version just wasn't good enough or maybe the market is totally saturated
by now. Who knows?
You probably have noticed the new Universal Hiscore
list, which is working great, and I've received a lot of Sendme.txt's
since and the number of people on the list has risen to around 315. Wow!
Keep sending your results and REMEMBER to tell your real name and
include the whole Sendme.txt file un-edited! Thank you.
I made some minor changes to the JOINTOP program and there is version 1.1
available for download at the Download Page.
Present:
The weather hasn't been great this summer, and I've gotten some work with
SJ2 done. I just finished a new crypting system, and from the next
version on you can trust the results on Universal List to be 100%
cheatproof.
Just yesterday I sent out a SJ2 Summer Feedback
Form to some 20 people who have been sending me mail and results in the
last month or two. The form had questions concerning the future
developments of Ski Jump International. If you're interested in filling
out this form, mail me. Now.
And also now would be a great time
to ask for some discounts on registering!
Future:
I'm thinking about whether the next version should be 2.2 or should I
_really_ work on the next version and make version 3.0! It's depends a
lot on if I get some artist to help out with the graphics, and if I'm
able to switch the jumping part to a better resulution. So if you know
anything about VESA programming, please mail me. I have a few questions
for you. And what else... that's about it, till next time.
Special Update:
I just added this cool new SJ2 Voting Feature! You have a chance to make
a difference on in what direction SJ2 is being developed. Just click here to enter the Surveys!
Thanks a lot, feel absolutely free
to mail me with whatever comments or suggestions you may have.
