To draw your own hill you can do this:
1.Draw a hill in a draw program like paint and make a hill.The size of the hill must be 1024x512 pixels.You MUST save the picture in 256 color.The name of the file must be front and so a number from 21 to 255.Eksample:front23.bmp
2.But the file must be a pcx file and you can`t save a picture as an pcx file with paint.Open your bmp file with a program that you can save pcx files with.Microsoft photo editor can save pcx files so use that if you have it.Save the file with the same name,but as an pcx file.Remember to save the file as an pcx file in your sj3 folder.Remember:Your hill MUST be 1024x512 pixels.Check that before you are saving the file.If it don`t are 1024x512 pixels choose the resize option on the menu to change the size.
3.Run sj3 and go to the hill editor.Choose new hill and choose the options you want.In the front index box you must type in the number you have on your file.if your file is front27.pcx so should the front index number be 27.After that you choose exit and save.Now are your hill finish and ready to play.
If your hill doesn`t work as it should those things here could be some of the reasons:
1.Are the picture 1024x512 pixels?
2.Are it a pcx file?To save it as pcx file in microsoft photo editor choose pc paintbrush in the filetype box.
3.have you saved it as a 256 color file when it was a bmp file?
4.Is the name of the file frontxx.pcx xx is standing for the number 21-255
5.Is the file in the sj3 folder?
