How the F*** jump so far?????

I wonder how it is possible to jump so far as the recs on the hills in the Hall of fame.
On 4 Hills I jumped now excactly so far as the 10. place in the list.
I think my jumps are not bad, but how can I jump longer. Are there any hints???
