The Past, Present and Future of SJ3 on February 19th 2002.

I'm very happy that the launch of v3.10 seemed to be a success. There have been no reports of bugs, only a few glitches with WinXP, but that's all. Please report to me at vkononen@cc.hut.fi if you've encountered problems with using SJ3 on Windows XP. The program is quite vast nowadays, so it's not the easiest task to keep it 100% error-free.

It took a while, but the post-registrations are also in the mail and most of them should of reached their destinations by now, sorry for the delay, it wasn't the easiest of tasks either...

After a crazy two months, I'm going to take it a little more easy with the game; the pages will be updated a couple of times per week and mails will be answered, but don't expect anything too drastic and new. During the next few weeks I'll try to put together that small helper program that will ease the making of new hills.

Right now, I'd like to make this very important point: if you play the game and like it, please register the game! Giving away the upgrade for free for registered users was not the best financial decision as making shareware games and selling them cheaply is not good business at all. The only way I'm ever going to be able to make v3.20 or even SJ4, is that people who play the game register it as well. The Register! page has all info you need on how to do the right thing. And from now on; I will be much more harsh towards illegal copies and cheap-ass cracks of the game; no more mr. nice guy.

As said; I'm taking it a bit more easy, but the PCX-helper is on my "To Do"-list and maybe I'll take a look at adding the career-mode-thing during the next months. I'm very sorry if some registrations (especially to Norway) are being sent with a big delay, this isn't anybody's number one job, so service can be slow due to "real" jobs and other life stuff. Anyways, thanks to everyone for making v3.10 a success, keep sending SENDME's, new hills and even replays or custom cups!
