The Past, Present and Future of SJ3 on September 19th 2003.

Summer was good, time to take it easy and think of all kinds of cool new ideas for life and elsewhere. One little idea finally took form as the ultra-cool SJI T-Shirts came out of print yesterday.

I have a box full of shirts in the corner just waiting to be shipped out to ski jumping fans everywhere. Now is the perfect time to surf on to the Shirt Shopping Page and get yourself a piece of SJ History. You can't get any cooler than this.

I announced a competition in last October's What's Up? file about whether to print the shirts or not. Well, I also promised a free shirt to everyone who voted and the lucky soul who gets the free shirt is:

Congratulations and thanks to everyone for voting. Anna will get her shirt as soon as possible. The rest of you will have to pay for it, which brings me to another issue: before you start complaining about the high price of the shirt please consider the following:

1. It's a quality shirt, not some crap that will disintegrate in the first wash. It'll make you look cool forever.
2. The prices include packaging and shipping to everywhere. If one could just send a shirt via email, the price would be much lower. But until Mr. Gates or Mr. Torvalds comes up a vision for sending clothes via the net, we'll have to rely on old-fashioned postages.
3. And, printing a fairly small quantity of shirts is fairly expensive. I'm really not making a profit with these, so, please try to understand my pricing on this one. Thanks.

I really hope to get these shirts on some cool people as fast as possible. v3.11 is also in the works, it's gonna come out when it's 100 % good. Stay tuned, and meanwhile, support the cause and look good at it!
